HOW IT WILL END...

Updated: Apr 22, 2020

I know you want to know exactly how things will turn out. Perhaps more pressing is you feel you know some version of the truth and wish others would join you in your profound sense of reasoning. It is good to seek truth, however God's truth is often a mystery and won't be fully understood until we get to heaven. Can we be Ok with that?

"Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely." -1 Corinthians 13:12

Honestly I try to be at peace with that but then I find myself searching the articles, the videos not on "mainstream media", the interview of the expert who seems to have all the solutions. We chase down the answers as if solving them will bring some sort of peace into our minds...but peace was never found in a temporary answer.

Peace can only be found in trusting the one who already knows all the answers.

Listen to your heart when you read the news, the reports, the posts, and the social media perspectives...is that bringing you peace or unrest?

When the disciples were so nervous and frightened in the storm, Jesus wasn't calling them "ye of little faith" because he wanted them to believe He would calm the storm.

"A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?”

He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.

He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?” -Mark 4:37-39

He wanted them to be at peace "IN the Storm", knowing they could trust that even in a storm all will be Ok when we abide with Jesus. We don't need to figure out how to calm the storm or even who is behind the storm...We just need to trust that Jesus is with us IN the storm.

If Jesus is with us...and YES, HE IS...believe Him and have FAITH! We do not need the storm to pass in order to walk in faith and peace.
