We Don't Play the Major Role...

We tend to think we are the major component to our own success or failure...the problem with this thinking is that it either creates PRIDE in our own hearts or SHAME in our shortcomings.

But listen to what Paul tells us in Ephesians, "Saving is all His idea, and all His work. All we do is trust Him enough to let Him do it. It's God's gift from start to finish!...We don't play the major role." ~Ephesians 2: 7-9 msg

I'm not sure about you but I still have the tendency to try and complete this work on my own and I often re-board the roller coaster ride of PRIDE and SHAME...so I will keep repeating God's message and heart until it is so ingrained in my subconscious that any thought contrary will no longer adhere to my mind.

There is no freedom to walk fully in GOD's LOVE AND GRACE when we are stuck on that ride.

2 Peter 1:3 tell us this...

"Everything that goes into a life of pleasing God has been miraculously given to us by getting to know, personally and intimately, the One who invited us to God."

You have everything you need to live a life He has called you to by simply knowing HIM...He is enough...you don't have to be enough.

Clearly everything we need is given to us by knowing God...the more we know Him the more our lives will experience His Divine Power...It's already there in your life, you just need to grab hold, trust and spend the time to know Him more each day...the possibilities for your life are endless when you walk hand in hand with an immeasurable God who LOVES YOU~
